Yes, I believe consent should play a central role when AI platforms

allow edits involving identifiable individuals. In practice, a system could combine user declarations, identity verification, and clear audit logs that record who uploaded an image and confirmed permission. While it may not be possible to verify consent perfectly in every case, platforms can still take reasonable steps to discourage misuse. Strong reporting tools, rapid content removal procedures, and penalties for violations would also be important. The goal should be to protect privacy and personal rights without making legitimate creative and professional uses of AI unnecessarily difficult or burdensome.
